This is an e-mail exchange in French between us and the family of Maurice Aubrey. This communication helped us to find out more about Maurice's history and life.

We could trace back Maurice's history to this former labour camp, called Osterort. It was a steel mill.

Visiting the remains of concentration camps in Bremen/Sandbostel

Sandbostel was a former sub camp of the former concentration camp Neuengamme. This is the place had been freed. Do to the tortures he died quickly after in a hospital in France.
